Do San Diego County parks allow bounce houses and jumpers?

Some County of San Diego parks allow bounce houses, jumpers, and inflatable attractions, but availability and setup requirements can vary by park. Before reserving your inflatable, contact the specific park or the County Parks reservation team to confirm that your selected location allows a bounce house or jumper.

Do I need a permit for a bounce house at a San Diego County park?

Yes. For County parks that allow bounce houses or jumpers, the County of San Diego requires a permit before the event. Additional documentation, including proof of liability insurance and a signed hold-harmless agreement, may also be required. Always confirm the current requirements with San Diego County Parks before your event.

Can I rent more than a bounce house for my park party?

Absolutely. In addition to bounce houses and jumper rentals, we offer dry slides, combo jumpers, inflatable obstacle courses, toddler inflatables, tables, chairs, tents, canopies, generators, and other party rental equipment. This makes it easier to arrange several parts of your event through one rental company.

Do I need a generator for a bounce house at a County park?

It depends on the park and where your inflatable will be set up. Bounce houses and other inflatables require electricity for their blowers, and electrical outlets may not always be available or close enough to the approved setup area. A generator rental may be needed for some park events. Confirm the power situation at your selected park before your event.

Can I rent tables and chairs for a San Diego County park party?

Yes. We offer table and chair rentals that can be added to your bounce house, jumper, or other party rental. Always check your park reservation to determine where tables, chairs, canopies, and other equipment may be placed.

Can I rent a tent or canopy for a County park?

Tent and canopy rentals may be available for your event, but park rules regarding tents, canopies, stakes, size, and placement can vary by location. Contact the park before reserving larger equipment so you know what is permitted in your reserved area.

How far in advance should I reserve my bounce house or party rentals?

We recommend reserving your San Diego County bounce house, jumper, or party rentals as early as possible, especially for weekends, holidays, and popular spring and summer dates. If your event is at a County park, obtain or begin your park reservation and permit process early enough to complete any required paperwork before your event.
